I've loved sci-fi and horror films for as long as I can remember, but my interest in special effects is a direct result of seeing Aliens (still my favorite movie) for the first time. I started sculpting in high school, but immediately refocused when a friend introduced me to model kits in 1996. Since then, I've spent a lot of time working on kits (build-ups and original pieces), which include some commissioned sculpts and various dioramas, some of which have won awards. Last year, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my goal of working in the special effects industry.
